If I had to guess I would say this was WWI, and based on what little information I can find, that seems to be accurate. One source dated the tin to 1914 somehow and others range from 1900 1930. Most azelaic acid serum make my skin feel prickly or even a slight burning sensation so I was glad to find this, which has a lower percentage of azelaic acid but also combines CICA. This product does not irritate my sensitive skin and I still get some calming benefits. I use it in place of a toner after washing my face and before other products. It does seem to help calm my rosacea. Note that this is more soothing than moisturizing so you may still want some sort of barrier cream to use over it at night. It works great under my sunscreen during the day.
