Bought this for the wife for Mother’s Day since she needed a new keyboard and case. She used my old Magic Keyboard but constantly was tired of taking her iPad off, just to rotate it. I didn’t have any issues with connecting. It was an easy setup. I’d suggest you spend the money for a laptop or a true keyboard if you need it. This is more for looks. If it wasn’t for the quality of the case, I’d probably return.
