The front seam fixed loop helmet shell was manufactured by McCord Radiator & Manufacturing Co. of Detroit, Michigan. The lot number is concealed beneath the interior's field repaint; however, judging by the later style fixed loops, it likely dates from mid 1942 to late 1943. In
