Yes, these are "old lady" boxers, but you can't beat the comfort and the fact that they are all cotton with covered elastic. I usually wear a 7 in Hanes, etc. Large (or ex lg if you want them looser) fit me fine. They looked small out of the package, and even smaller after washing, but still fit. Size up if you are unsure.
