Louis Forest "Le Mont des Chretiens" Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru 2017 1.5LFrom a single site of Chardonnay in cueil, this is done by Louis Forest, separate from the family's work at Forest Marie. The nose opens with complex aromas of soft cream, apricot, mixed citrus zests, and a light hit of oak. On the palate this is just shy of moderate in weight with good acidity and a flavor set of citrus, clotted cream, tree fruits and a just there hazelnut and barrel note to finish.
